The UMR ESPACE-DEV conducts research on the spatial dynamics that characterize eco-socio-systems. Its objectives focus on defining indicators of these dynamics: biogeophysical processes, societal changes, risks associated with emerging diseases based on environmental parameters, and territorial changes and vulnerability to global shifts. To this end, it develops methodologies in spatial remote sensing and knowledge integration. The LICeM brings together faculty members and researchers who are deeply engaged in the field of innovation, particularly in economic law. The unit, composed of legal scholars, focuses its research on two areas related to innovation in relation to the law. The first area aims to identify and understand, in light of new market offerings and behaviors, what legal innovations are being created. The second area, meanwhile, seeks to analyze the legal framework governing innovative products resulting from digital technologies. The EDSM’s general research focus is on collective bargaining. Following the fundamental reforms of recent years, the specific aim is to assess the social innovation brought about by collective bargaining agreements and conventions.It also involves, more specifically, examining the topic of small businesses, seeking to assess the suitability (or unsuitability) of labor law for small businesses. A central thread throughout is the issue of (collective) bargaining in very small enterprises.In addition to this general theme, the unit has taken on a second research topic focusing on occupational health (quality of life at work, social security, CSR). CERCOP is a research group whose research focuses on examining what has come to be known, since the development of constitutional justice and the sophistication of human rights protection techniques, as “new constitutional law.” The first area is dedicated to the study and analysis of constitutional litigation and its implications for the democratic balance of political systems. The second addresses the study of constitutional law in light of state theory and the philosophy of law. The third is devoted to the epistemology of comparative law and the comparative analysis of constitutional systems around the world.The fourth focuses on “punitive constitutional law” and constitutional jurisprudence regarding rights and freedoms.
